METALTECH (tm) is a brand by HL PRODUCT about licensed and original characters, robots or other mecha vehicles made as die cast (metal) toys for adult collectors offering different functionalities.

The first METALTECH (tm) model ever produced was GRENDIZER from the UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER manga series by the manga ka GO NAGAI as an original rendition during Year 2008. Latest models were designed to be more faithful to the design as in the manga or anime and engineered so no large gap can be seen between articulations, such as top of legs or shoulders, even in different pose. METALTECH (tm) was also one of the first die cast toy to offer "in action outlook" weapon accessories, introduced with the HL PRODUCT pvc action figure line 'capcom vs snk 2', an original feature concept that many companies started to use few months later. Also a first in the die cast super robot collector toy world, HL PRODUCT produced models using color faithful to how their appear in manga or anime, called 'anime color ver.' or 'manga color ver.', an HL PRO trend that many companies soon followed.

[ Dinosaur War Izenborg (US Title: Attack of the super monsters)

Produced by Tsuburaya productions in 1977, this 39 episodes TV show is part of what became the trademark of the company, releasing ‘suitmation tokusatsu’ series.

The main plot of Izenborg is about the conflict between intelligent dinosaurs living underground and Humans, as the dinosaur empire wants to rule to world once more and reclaim the earth’s surface. In order to protect Humanity, a special team called ‘D-Force’ is created, using a tank like vehicle as main weapon. An alien woman named Maya crash-lands on Earth. Her homeworld was destroyed by the Blasters, a cruel alien race who steals the natural resources from other planets. She falls in love with a scientist and gives birth to a human boy named Kentaro. When the Blasters invade the Earth, Kentaro must defeat them by fighting with Astroganger, a robot made from living metal.

This was the first Super Robot show in color, beating Mazinger Z to the air by two months.

Astroganger is very different from most of the robots of the genre. He is a sentient being who can talk, think, and feel pain. He has no special abilities and must rely on his strength to win battles.

Astroganger was very popular in Italy, South Korea, and in the Middle East as Jongar (جونغر).

Uchu Enban Daisenso (宇宙円盤大戦争 Uchū Enban Daisensō), also known as 'Battlefield of The Space Saucers' and 'The Great Battle of the Flying Saucers', is a 1975 animated short film created by Go NagaiThe movie is considered to be the prototype for the future anime TV series UFO Robot Grendizer, which premiered that same year.The Main hero ‘Duke Fleed’ has to escape his planet while under attack by the Yaban forces. He manages to steal GATTAIGER, an experimental giant robot with spacer and flees to Earth, pursued by General Blaki.Duke fleed has to confront the Yaban forces on Earth and loses his fiance Tellona in the process.

Unlike the Robot Grendizer, the most powerful weapon in Uchu Enban Daisenso is not the robot, ROBOIZER, but the spacer, called THE FLYING TIGER. It's powerful capabilities include faster than light flight, Spider Spin (a buzzsaw mode used by the Flying Tiger), Needle Shower (needle missiles from the Flying Tiger), Space Thunder (three lasers from each side of the Flying Tiger), and Thunder Focus (combining all six beams into one).

METALTECH05: GATTAIGER is a die cast set including the robot and the spacer with different options to change its look. As in the Anime, the robot Roboizer can be posed in many ways, docked or undocked in the FLYING TIGER, using exchangeable parts.
